I got NYC Driver’s lisence but my car is register under someone else’s name in New Jersey. If i get a ticket speeding ticket I know it will affect my record but my question is, will it also affect the insurance of the guy the car is register under? if so how much?

It shouldn’t affect the car unless you don’t pay the ticket then he will get pulled over but if you got the ticket it should only affect you.
NYC to New Jersey connection…check with your local insurance broker to get the exact numbers.
Here’s a good website to browse that I use myself to get more relevant information.
Auto Car Plus Insurance Transfer Site:
All the best.
If the car is registered under someone else’s name then either it is not yours, or it is stolen, or you are engaged in some kind of insurance fraud,
So, when the police stop you for speeding, you better have some kind of proof that you are authorized to be driving the car that is not yours.
I think that if this only happens once, it won’t have much effect, but if the same guy (you) often get tickets while driving this borrowed car, it will be pretty obvious that the guy in NJ has poor judgement loaning his car to dangerous people, and the insurance rates may go up, because you have just made him a poorer risk.
