why? if you’re insured, you’re insured. doesn’t matter what state you’re in. your insurance company doesn’t care.
As Grrr also stated, you are covered in all US states by your policy. If you are merely “visiting” in Philly and not living there, your carrier does not need to be informed. By the way, be careful in Philly as several several surveys over the last couple of years show that approximately 30-35 percent of registered vehicles within the City are uninsured. You do have “uninsured motorist” coverage on your car I hope.
